The Indonesian Scholar Scientific Summit (I3S) is an esteemed annual conference that serves as a dynamic platform for students, researchers, lecturers, and scholars from various disciplines to present and engage in discussions about their latest findings and advancements. This event attracts hundreds of academics from around the globe, providing an unparalleled opportunity for networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas.
The primary objective of I3S is to facilitate a constructive dialogue that not only advances academic knowledge but also contributes to the formulation of recommendations and resolutions aimed at driving Indonesia’s development. In pursuit of this goal, the summit emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the integration of diverse perspectives.
This year, I3S is proud to announce its collaboration with a multitude of academic institutions, both within Indonesia and internationally. These partnerships are instrumental in enhancing the scope and impact of the conference, ensuring a rich and varied exchange of knowledge. Through this collaborative effort, I3S continues to strengthen its position as a pivotal event in the academic calendar, fostering innovation and progress for the betterment of Indonesia and the global academic community.
The 6th I3S is proud to announce its hybrid conference format, combining on-site presentations at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and Paragon Hall, Indonesia, with virtual presentations through Zoom meetings. This innovative approach allows for a broader and more inclusive participation from scholars worldwide.
All accepted articles will be published in a journal or conference proceeding e-book (Academic Seminar and International Conference), each assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for easy reference and citation. Additionally, selected papers that meet the stringent eligibility criteria will have the opportunity to be published in esteemed international journals indexed by prestigious databases such as SCOPUS, Web of Science (WOS), Copernicus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and Google Scholar. These opportunities are subject to the terms and conditions set forth by the Scientific Editorial and Reviewer Committee.
The peer review process for most collaborating journals is conducted through a single-blind assessment involving at least two independent reviewers. This is followed by a final acceptance or rejection decision made by the Editor-in-Chief or another academic editor authorized by the Editor-in-Chief. The Editor-in-Chief is tasked with upholding the academic integrity of the publication process, including making acceptance decisions, approving external editors and topics for article collections such as Special Issues, Topics, and Topical Collections, and appointing new members to the Editorial Board.
The hybrid format of I3S 2024 opens doors for scholars worldwide to participate in this event, enhancing its international reach and impact. The flexibility of the conference format is a key advantage, enabling greater engagement from participants across the globe. This event is organized by the Indonesian Student Association in Taiwan (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia di Taiwan), further emphasizing its commitment to fostering global collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of sustainability science.
